We Need Your Brainpower: Help Shape This AEO Guide!
This isn’t just a post, it’s a working session for B2B Marketers.
Alright CTM… this is one of those moments where the magic of this community really shows up.
Over the past couple of months, one of our members, Ron Close, has been deep in the weeds on Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), testing, learning, and pulling together a practical guide to what’s actually working right now.
And instead of just publishing it and calling it done, he did something better.
He brought it here.
Because the truth is: the best ideas don’t come from one perspective, they come from rooms like this.
So we’re turning this into a community-powered review.
This is your chance to:
Pressure test the ideas
Add your own real-world experiences
Challenge assumptions
Sharpen what’s already here
And help shape something that could become a go-to resource for marketers navigating AEO
Whether you’re actively experimenting with AEO, just starting to explore it, or have strong opinions about where it’s headed, we want your feedback!
As you read, think about:
What made you pause or rethink something?
What feels spot on?
What’s missing?
Where would you push this further?
Download the guide below and drop your thoughts in the comments, react to others, build on ideas!

Thanks so much for hosting this! I can't wait to hear your critical feedback and will be glad to share updates with you. Also, if you pass me a good idea or a good change, let me know if you are cool with me adding your name to the acknowledgments pages for future versions.
Right away I saw a topic in the making, Ron. WHICH LLMs to focus on. When I saw ChatGPT and Gemini I did this double take and eww sour milk look on my face. (I'm terrible at Poker.)
But you raise a great point, esp for AEO. We want to optimize for where the users are. GPT is the elephant in the room right now. They may/may not murder people and have an evil villain motif, but the traffic is there. Gemini just plain stinks at almost everything except analyzing your google drive and using Banana to make cool photos. But Google Workspace bundled it with everyone so there's potential for even more traffic there as the world matures with this tech.
Personally I like a 1-2 combo punch of Claude and Grok. But optimizing for one doesn't necessarily exclude the others, it's probably more directional anyways. What does everyone else think?
